I'm glad I'm not on any benefits--I'd be very worried about my future if I were.
I'm also glad I got my ILR application in, so that any future jiggery with immigration law will be less likely to affect me. I was already burned once by Tories trying to keep UKIP voters happy.

I live in Scotland, so I'm also wondering if there'll be another indy ref.

Thatcher and Blair and Johnson won because of their personalities; Major and Corbyn lost because of their lack of a personality.
Same applied in the US with Trump and in with Macron.
In Scotland Sturgeon won but whatever the Libdems leaders name was, lost - she like Corbyn has no personality.
Politics is not about policies any more, it is about which leader has the most charisma.
Farage is/was popular with some people (mostly loud beer drinkers) because he was charismatic but not sufficiently so for him to get into Westminster.
