Hello everyone,

I’m seeking advice from anyone who has experience transitioning from a US undergraduate program to a master’s program in the Netherlands, specifically in Psychology.

I recently graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology in 2022, and I’m currently in the process of applying to the Clinical Neuropsychology master’s programs at Leiden University and Tilburg University. However, I’m having trouble understanding the academic requirements for these programs. I’ve reached out to advisors on both sides (here in the US and in the Netherlands), but I haven’t been able to get the help I need.

If anyone here has gone through a similar experience, could you please share your insights on:

1. How to interpret the academic requirements listed for these programs?
2. Any tips on aligning US coursework with the Dutch program prerequisites?
3. The process for getting your previous coursework approved or recognized?

Your guidance and advice would be immensely appreciated. Please only respond if you can provide helpful information, as I am really in need of clear guidance. Thank you in advance for your help!
