Lynn, I do have to point out my single remark that related specifically to the police was when they were, OFF DUTY.
Furthermore if they want to have a few pints and watch the Euros football, on TV in the boozer, they are pefectly at liberty to do so.
However your remarks related to their ON DUTY abilit to conduct an effective investigation.
You are undermining their professionalism and competence, which I cannot accept!

Furthermore, i suggested that I saw merit in the UK police being involved from the start.
You again challenged that.
As we get futher into this matter, the chances of foul play are ever increasing, especially with what has come to light the violent attack, that Joe was involved in previously, that happened in the UK.
So, clear that it would have better, had UK police been involved from the start.

Lynn, given the dangerous job the UK police do, the social problems, criminality, widespread use of weapons life knives, gangs, general voilence, etc, they do I job I would not want to have to do.
They deserve our suppport, not unwarrented criticism!

The National Park where they have found the body is almost due North of Masca where he stayed with the two men which makes little sense if he was supposedly walking South to where his apartment was.
One media outlet is saying he was last seen by the owner of the cafe Mirador La Cruz de Hilda, which is North of the village of Masca.
Totally in the opposite direction if one was trying to get back south to Playa de las Americas area.....
The authorities are already saying he could have fallen or had an accident in the rough terrain - nothing suspicious ?

He was seen on Monday morning - heading north from the cafe ..... Why did the men who took him to this area (some 25 miles from the coast) not take him back?
It is all very suspicious.

"Dangerous job" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: you clearly have no idea just how safe of a job being a uk copper is, each year the HSE publish a list of dangerous occupation, the police have NEVER been in the top 15 since they started publishing the stats, I can still when one of the 'on the job' injuries that a cop got while at a demonstration was a,,,,,,,,,bee sting, yep it was included as an injury received by a cop along side another injury of a trapped thumb in the police van door :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Maybe Google harder …… Police and armed forces are generally not included in the list for a reason. 😉
