Hey everyone, got my grant 2 weeks back ( April 7 ) . Application date is Dec 25, 2023. NSW 190 developer programmer Onshore.

Good luck for everyone waiting. I know no kind of advice is helpful now, even I was anxious during the wait. But if you can, just try to forget about the application and move on with your life. I used to keep checking the mail every hour, but last month I decided to just stop and check it once a day and it helped me a lot.

 

Yes, we havent checked till we reached 18 months buddy, post that we had a hope that we would get anytime and we are touching 23 months with no correspondence. Most cursed & affected batch in 190.

So, Labour is back in the government. How do you all see this? I believe it is positive for immigration.

 

certainly better and the migration should be continued like last year but hopefully this time they should consider reducing processing time

 

March data is available now if anyone has any interest.

At the end of March 2025, they had 4500 grants available. Considering, they gave approximately 3000 in April, the quota is almost over. Probably, we will stop witnessing grants after Mid of May.

 

I doubt. They would have given 2.2k in the month of April since there was a long weekend and there were less grants from April 17th till 28th. We would be left out with 2.4k at the end of April. Moreover, they have given s56 till June 10th and 11th(sent on May 1st & 2nd). Hopefully they will continue giving s56 in the weeks.
Lets take 25 % of 4600--> 1150 will be for priority grants
Another 45 % --> 2070 for July 2023 and after( it can be s56 cases or direct grants)
25% --> 1150 for June 2023
5 % --> 230 for prior June 2023

 

As I suspected, DOHA didn’t have enough grants for the entire month of May. Things seem to have slowed down, especially judging by the data from the past few days. Those waiting for the grant, I believe we’ll have to place our hopes in July now

 

I agree. I applied in March 2024. Looking at the data, my application was so close. DoHA was pretty much edging me up to this point. Got to wait till July now. On a tangent, mate are you worried that given the tensions between India and Pakistan, our applications would be de-prioritised? Or would it just be for student visas?

 

as per April FOI, only 1722 was left out. That would have been utilized in May. Hence we have to wait for July. Wait continues..
